How are you the same as you were at CHS? I love people, am friendly and outgoing.
How are you different? I'm more secure in myself now, older and wiser and have learned from making lots of mistakes.
What is your proudest accomplishment? My children and grandson are the joy of my life - nothing I did but what Christ has done in me.

What have you been up to for the last 50 years?
I moved back to San Jose area from the east coast in the late 60's after my first husband was out of the Navy. Was married for 18 years - divorced and raised 2 children on my own.
Remarried in 1986 and was married for 13 years then divorced again (husband left for another woman) - I grew spiritually leaps and bounds and have never been closer to the Lord Jesus Christ as I was through those trying and difficult times.
I am quite active in my church - lived with elderly ladies in Mount Hermon for almost a year as a companion until they needed more help than I could give them. They were wonderful - they had English style tea parties at 4:00 p.m. every afternoon and were able to share with friends and neighbors about their full lives. I was so blessed to be with them.
I am currently caring for my first husband's mother and brother-in-law as they both have cancer. My current roommate from church is in a precarious health condition as well and may soon be moving back east to be with her family. The Lord has put me in caregiving situations over the years and it is a blessing to serve others in that way.
I have worked in my current job at Carroll Engineering for the last 12 years for a wonderful Christian man as his Administrative Assistant - love the client contact and do everything from bookkeeping and accounts receivable/payables to planning office parties and everything in between.
When I'm not busy at work and caring for family and friends I enjoy spending time with my children and my grandson and visiting an inmate in Chowchilla Prison for Women.
