What have you been up to for the last 45 years?
Graduated from Stanford, then spent a year in VISTA on the Navajo reservation in New Mexico. Married Cathy while in VISTA. We lived and worked at Ridge Vineyards for 4 years, enjoying living in the mountains and making great wine. After that we traveled around the U.S., Mexico, and Canada for a year in a pickup truck and camper, with our two dogs.
We settled in Fairfield, Iowa for 4 years, where we started a construction company. We started meditating there, and continue to do so twice a day.
In 1978 we moved back to Santa Cruz, and still live here. Our first daughter was born in Iowa, and our second in Santa Cruz. They are both a tremendous joy in our lives, and are accomplished in their own fields now.
5 years ago Cathy and I bought the company I had worked for in the last 20 years. We are extremely busy, fully involved every day. We feel very fortunate to have such busy, healthy lives.
Since I was lucky enough to live with Jo Kemling and his family for senior year at Cupertino, they have become like a second family to me. We still get together once in a while, and still see Bob Anderson, Rich Young, Jack Purcell, and a few others.
