Job
Hobbies: Community: How are you the same as you were at CHS? I still have a quirky sense of humor and get a kick out of pushing the boundaries. How are you different? Maybe I'm a little more mature. What is your proudest accomplishment? Having a successful marriage and raising three children Where do you live? in the country Parents: Father: living, Mother: living What have you been up to for the last 45 years? Like many of you, I was deeply affected by the Vietnam War. In my case, I ended up studying Buddhism, getting a Ph.D. in Buddhist Studies at Yale, and then spending the last 25 years teaching the subject. This involved spending a year in India, over five years in Japan, and numerous trips to China and Southeast Asia. I'm still having enough fun that retirement doesn't seem very attractive. I married an ethnomusicologist who studies and plays Indonesian gamelan (more travel), and my daughters studied in Vietnam and Costa Rica (even more travel). I would have like to attend the reunion, but have to be at a conference in British Columbia.
